3pm Crochet Clue Game Day Mystery Make-along– Pattern

Working along the wingspan edge of the piece continue as follows:
Row 21 (RS): Ch 1, 2 sc around stitch at end of row 20, 1 sc on row 19, [3 sc around stitch/beginning chains of next row] 18 times, 1 sc in center space of foundation chain, [3 sc around stitch/beginning chains of next row] 18 times, sc on row 19, 2 sc around beginning chains of row 20–115 sc
Cute and Cozy Crochet
Do not Fasten off.
Turn work and position work with WS facing, Count 27 sts in from each edge and place a marker.
 
Match up the first sc or row 21 to the marked stitch on the opposite edge, and match up the loop on hook to marked stitch on left edge.

Using the stitch marker, pin together the marked stitch to the 1st sc of row.

Then position the hook with the working loop on it into the other marked stitch (see photo). Join with a slip stitch to begin working in the round.
