10am Play ????

Gauge: 5 hdc = 1″ use the hook size that will get you this gauge; after rnd 5, your piece should measure approx. 5″ across.

Using larger hook and the magic loop

Rnd 1: Ch 2 (does not count as a stitch), 10 hdc in magic loop. Do not join with a slip stitch but work in one continuous spiral. Use a marker to indicate the first stitch of the round.

Rnd 2: Working into the back loop only, 2 hdc in each stitch — 20 hdc

Rnd 3: Working into the back loop only, 2 hdc in each stitch — 40 hdc

Rnd 4: Working into the back loop only, 2 hdc in each stitch — 80 hdc

Rnd 5: Working into the back loop only, *2 hdc, hdc; repeat from * around —120 hdc

Yes this makes a wave like circle, that is what you want.

By the end of this play, your piece should measure approx 5″ across.
