Chart

Chart as referred to in the video

Video

The swatch I made in the video has a chain amount of 29. Then worked the chart pattern through row 5.

I used Red Heart Soft yarn and a J/6 mm hook for the swatch in the video so you could better see the stitches (I hope).

I recommend learning this new stitch pattern with stash yarn first, then do another swatch for the poncho gauge (you want to get gauge using the yarn you will use on your poncho), then begin your poncho with the full number of repeats. Doing it this way will take longer, I know. But it will ensure that you have success.

Homework

Finish section 1 and be ready to start section two on Sept 27, 2016.

Once you finish your section be sure to post pictures to the facebook group as there will be a prize given away from RedHeart.com to one lucky person (who is randomly chosen) that has finished his or her homework during the week of Sept. 20, 2016 – Sept 26, 2016 @ 11:59pm. Goodluck!

    I making the small/medium
I did two row it only 11 1/2″
    Isn’t this too short
Or can can add more stitches
    Instead of 45 do 53

  2. Sharo says:

Love all your videos even the ones I do not intend to mak, you are so patient and instructions for new stitches, or in some cases I have forgotten how to do, that your instructions are easy to follow. Keep up the good work! I will definitely be making this when I can afford the yarn. As I am still paying off medical bills from cancer. (Two years cancer free from stage IV colorectal cancer.)

    • Antonette says:

I’m really sorry for you, im so glad you are free of it now. Many years of good health to you!!!!! Wish you the best!!!!!

    • Patty says:

Hi, the print icon is very small. It is located above the comments section, on the left side in the share this area. There is print icon. Select the icon and view the pages and print the pages you want. I hope this helps. It took me awhile to find it.

  3. Karen DeVille Lewis says:
